Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 September 2026
MakeMymini ("we", "us", "our") is operated by Purukrish India Pvt. Ltd. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use makemymini.com, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices and rights you have over it.
Information We Collect
To create and deliver a personalized order, we collect:
- The photo(s) you upload for personalization
- Your name, phone number, email address, and delivery address
- Order details — product, quantity, price, and any personalization notes you add
- Basic technical information when you browse the site — your IP address, browser/device type, and pages viewed, including via the analytics and advertising tools described below
Your payment is processed entirely by Razorpay's own secure checkout — we never see or store your card, UPI, or bank details on our servers.
How We Use Your Information
- To create, quality-check, produce, and ship your order
- To contact you about your order — quality-check results, dispatch, delivery updates, and support — via WhatsApp, email, or phone
- To send your order receipt and, if you've agreed, a request to review your purchase
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security issues
- To understand how visitors use our site and to measure and improve our advertising, as described below
How Your Photo Is Stored
Uploaded photos are stored outside our public website files (not accessible via any public URL), are renamed on upload so the original filename is never kept, and are only ever shown to you (via a private link only you have) and to our own team performing the print-quality check and production of your order. Once your order is paid, your photo is moved to our business Google Drive account, in a private folder that only our team can open, and removed from our website's server.
Cookies and Advertising/Analytics Tools
Like most e-commerce sites, we use cookies and similar technologies to run the site and to measure and improve our advertising:
- Meta Pixel & Conversions API — helps us understand which ads led to a visit or purchase, and to show relevant ads on Facebook/Instagram. This shares limited information (such as your IP address, browser information, and — in hashed, non-readable form — your phone/email if you complete an order) with Meta.
- Google Analytics (GA4) — helps us understand site traffic and usage patterns. This shares similar technical browsing information with Google.
- Session cookies — needed for core functionality like keeping your cart and login session working.
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of personalized advertising through your Meta ad preferences or Google Analytics opt-out — doing so won't stop the site from working, but may make ads you see less relevant.
Who We Share Data With
We share only what's needed to run your order and our business, with:
- Razorpay — processes your payment on our behalf, per Razorpay's own security standards.
- Meta (Facebook/Instagram/WhatsApp Business Platform) — for advertising measurement (see above), and to send order updates via WhatsApp.
- Google — for site analytics (see above), and Google Drive, where our team stores the photos for paid orders (private, never shared publicly).
- Courier/logistics partners — your name, phone, and delivery address only, to deliver your order.
We do not sell your personal data to anyone, for any reason.
Data Retention
We keep your data only as long as reasonably needed:
- Uploaded photos are automatically deleted 90 days after your order is marked delivered, unless there's an active quality issue, defect claim, or a request from you to delete them sooner (see below). Photos uploaded for an order that is never paid are deleted after 30 days.
- Order and account records (name, contact details, address, amounts) are retained for as long as required under applicable Indian tax and business-record-keeping laws, and to handle any warranty, defect, or legal claims.
- Contact form messages are retained until your enquiry is resolved, plus a reasonable period afterward for our records.
These are our current, real retention practices — the specific 90-day photo window is a considered default and can be adjusted; contact us if you'd like your photo deleted sooner.
Your Rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:
- Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you
- Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erase your personal data once it's no longer needed for the purpose it was collected, or once you withdraw consent (subject to our legal/accounting retention obligations above)
- Withdraw consent for optional processing (such as marketing messages) at any time, as easily as you gave it
- Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity
- Register a grievance if you're unhappy with how we've handled your data (see Grievance Officer below)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below — we aim to respond within 30 days.
Data Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data: encrypted (HTTPS) connections site-wide, photos stored outside any publicly accessible location, access to customer data restricted to our own team on a need-to-know basis, and we never store your payment details ourselves. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable, real precautions rather than treating this as a formality.
Children's Privacy
MakeMymini is intended for use by adults (18 years and older). If you're ordering a personalized item featuring a photo of a child, that upload should be made by the child's parent or legal guardian, who is responsible for that consent.
